Hello

Leah Lentz is the co-editor-in-chief for the Express. This is her third semester working on the Express and her second in an editor role. She is interested in covering topics around news impacting the community and sharing people's stories through features and profiles. She is currently a journalism intern at Capitol Weekly, reporting on California politics and government.  

 

She has been drawn to journalism since she was young. Some of her fondest memories from her childhood are opening the Sacramento Bee every morning to check out the sports page. After the 2016 presidential election, she grew interested in journalism’s impact on politics. She hopes to bring her passion for finding the truth to her pursuit of a career in journalism.
